Philips XL-5200U Review: I went to turn on our TV one evening and it wouldn't come on. After tinkering with it for a while I realized that the internal lamp wasn't lighting, and everything inside was dark. A little Internet research pointed to a single light bulb (the lamp) as the likely cause.
